    well when I capture the clips using my laptop, they become mpegs. My montage is a quicktime movie, which I put together with adobe premier elements.

  Hey Slither, thanks for letting me know where I can find one of those Capture cards. But I was wondering, does it capture sound? Because in your video here, there is no sound. But the quality is so amazing. Thanks again :D

    it can capture sound, you need some sort of splitting wire(I think you can get one at radio shack for around $5). It splits one of the audio cables that go into your tv into two cables that go into the capture box. I chose not to put sound on that clip though. There is music to my montage, though.

    xparishx I got it from tigerdirect.com just go to the website and on the left find the category "video capture" by the way - the sabrent capture card was only $25!!
